Icky Kitty Project was created by Charlotte Bauer, a Girl Scout of 15 years and a long-time animal owner. This is Charlotte's Gold Award which is the highest award in Girl Scouts, she wants to educate Pet Owners about the importance of knowing what plants & flowers in their home & backyard are toxic to their pets.

With the help of a fantastic team of Veterinarian experts, Web Designers, Graphic Designers, and Social Media Assistants, she has developed ickykittyproject.com to be a resource for pet owners to have quick access in emergency situations.

She has also created pamphlets that are available in local participating Animal Shelters for new pet owners to have when they adopt a new pet. Check your local Animal Shelter's Facebook page to see if they have posted about the

Icky Kitty Project!

We started the project in 2019 in Portland, Oregon, and plan to expand to all of Oregon and SW Washington Animal Rescue Centers and local Veterinary Clinics

by 2022.
